The gym is the primary space where most of the rehabilitation process occurs.
For this reason, Isokinetic centers feature an open space environment equipped with state-of-the-art technology, designed to meet all of the patient’s therapeutic needs.
The gym is primarily designed, however, to be a welcoming, positive, and stimulating environment where patients can feel at ease, encourage one another, and ultimately build friendships.
Each gym session varies in duration, ranging from 90 to 120 minutes, depending on the therapeutic protocol drawn up by the physician.
At Isokinetic, sports rehabilitation means bringing the patient back to full psychophysical efficiency, not merely alleviating symptoms but aiming for complete recovery of functionality.
Our specialists do not limit therapies to a specific anatomical area or type of condition; instead, they concentrate on the patient as a whole. In other words, their approach ensures that the recovery of functionality encompasses the individual in all aspects.
The Isokinetic method primarily relies on therapeutic exercise focused on functional rehabilitation, serving as a means to achieve genuine and long-lasting results.
A fundamental characteristic of Isokinetic centers is the use of a single large therapeutic space where patients are welcomed.
Sharing this space enables patients to engage in therapy together. This brings with enormous advantages in terms of energy derived precisely from the interactions and exchanges they have with each other
The use of instrumental therapies (cryotherapy, electrostimulation, laser therapy, TENS, ultrasound, iontophoresis, and hyperthermia) prepares the patient to correctly perform the exercises.
During the Isokinetic rehabilitation process, massages serve both preventive and therapeutic purposes for muscle injuries, muscle fatigue, tendon injuries, and swelling.
Massage involves a series of controlled mechanical actions carried out by our rehabilitation specialists on the body’s surface, with the goal of restoring the functionality of specific tissues or enhancing the healing process. There are several different types of massage.
