Founded in 2000, the Isokinetic Education and Research Department is the hub of knowledge generation and application within the group. It plays a central role in advancing Sports Medicine through:
Research and Development activities
- Research and Development activities, aimed at exploring new frontiers in Sports Medicine and developing innovative services to support clinical care.
Scientific Activity
Active participation in scientific activity, contributing original research in the Sports Medicine field and through the publication of scientific papers in industry journals
Isokinetic Conference
- Over 30 years organising the annual Isokinetic Conference, the world’s largest football medicine conference, which has become a benchmark event for innovation and research in our field.
Knowledge dissemination
- Knowledge dissemination, by taking part and presenting at international conferences, delivering lectures both on and off Campus, publishing informative articles in newspapers and appearing on television.
On-board training and ongoing education
On-board training and ongoing education, ensuring that members of staff in all clinics benefit from continuous learning.
Isokinetic Medical Group
Clinical governance activities, ensuring the consistency of care, by overseeing the correct and uniform application of the Isokinetic Medical Group model of care.

Strong links with the national and international academic world
- Maintaining strong links with the national and international academic world, by working with universities in Italy and abroad to integrate the latest scientific research and share the results of the Isokinetic experience. These findings are then further developed internally and translated into treatment and innovation protocols for the patients’ benefit.
Over the years, the role and centrality of the Education and Research Department (ERD) have grown significantly, together with the quantity and quality of its international partnerships. Today, the ERD represents the cultural heart of the Isokinetic Medical Group and is the driving force behind the generation and dissemination of knowledge in Sports Medicine.
Isokinetic campus
In 2023, the Isokinetic Campus was established as the organisation’s “family home”, where the Education and Research Department (ERD) oversees the ongoing education and professional development of employees, fellows, and the many members of the Isokinetic Community connected with the Campus. The Campus plays a vital role both as a cornerstone for the future growth of Isokinetic Medical Group and as a meeting place for the international Sports Medicine community.
