Through its strategic and cultural leadership, Isokinetic Medical Group has always pursued its mission by participating in the international scientific debate and maintaining relationships with the most important associations and key figures in the global sports medicine and orthopaedic community. Creating solid bonds which allow the Sports Medicine field to flourish worldwide generates value for the wider community. Isokinetic actively contributes to this.
We cultivate our international connections through a range of activities, from organising the world’s largest Football Medicine Conference, to the many initiatives on Campus, to contributing significantly to the work of scientific societies, drafting international guidelines and creating strong, long-lasting research partnerships with some of the world’s most important groups. Our goal has always been to expand the frontiers of knowledge.
Every year, Isokinetic supports the work of the most important international scientific societies by taking part in joint research, consensus meetings and conferences and by holding active roles within these societies. Examples include the European Society of Sport Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA), the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), the International Cartilage Regeneration & Joint Preservation Society (ICRS) and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA).
Through years of scientific debate around the world, Isokinetic has built strong ties with partners, mentors and friends overseas. These relationships have enabled us to build genuine partnerships dedicated to advancing Sports Medicine and scientific production through knowledge generation and dissemination. This ever-evolving chapter is reflected in our joint scientific output; the photos below show some examples.
Of great importance is also the relationship with international institutions, in particular FIFA, with whom Isokinetic has maintained a long-standing partnership since 2009. Isokinetic was one of the first groups in the world (11th) to be recognised as a FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence and since then our relationship with the FIFA Medical Department has become permanent.
Since 2013, representatives from FIFA Medical Centres of Excellence worldwide have gathered at the Isokinetic Conference each year, creating an important opportunity for discussion and sharing among all professionals in the sector. FIFA Medical Centres of Excellence are centres which, due to their exceptionally high standards of care for athletes, have been designated as FIFA-accredited facilities. Recognised across the world by both specialists and the wider football and sports community, they are known as places where athletes can receive outstanding medical care and rehabilitation.

Every year, Isokinetic connects with thousands of professionals in the Sports Medicine Community, both nationally and internationally. Among them are Isokinetic students, fellows from the Education and Research Department, conference participants, readers and contributors to scientific publications, research partners, universities, and international federations.
