They are always there to help you, and deal with the logistical and financial considerations, making you feel welcome and taking away some of the stress and anxiety of being injured. Don’t be afraid to ask for any help or assistance. We are here for you.
The initial consultation.
Your first appointment will be with one of our experienced Sport and Exercise Medicine doctors. Your doctor will create a personalised rehabilitation programme for you and will choose your Rehabilitation Specialist depending on the best fit for you in terms of timing and personality. Throughout your time with us, they will be available to discuss concerns or any issues with the rehabilitation path. Be assured they will be actively monitoring your improvements and keeping you informed of your progress along the way.
Your Rehabilitation Specialist.
Probably the person within Isokinetic you will spend the most time with. In each session, and alongside with other patients, the Rehabilitation Specialist will focus on the best therapeutic intervention and show you new exercises and how to perform them. Exercise is Medicine for us. They are also there to motivate you whenever you need a push. For this reason, we carefully select only the most patient-friendly and well-trained Rehabilitation Specialists to ensure you can get the most from your sessions whether they take place in the gym, pool, Green Room or field. They are also a fully qualified physiotherapist capable of performing manual therapies where necessary.
Follow-up Consultation.
Throughout your rehabilitation path, you will regularly return to see your Case Manager to have follow-up consultations. Follow-ups are there to monitor your progress and evaluate the effectiveness of your rehabilitation programme so far. The doctor will examine you and review the notes of your Rehab Specialist. With this information they may prescribe certain tests or decide to adjust your therapy as necessary.
