During the specialist consultation, you will meet one of our sports doctors, rehabilitation doctors, or sport and exercise medicine consultants. From that point forward, they will be your case manager. In our model, the case manager takes responsibility for the clinical and logistical outcomes of your time with us and is critical for communicating and coordinating different treatment pathways, whether inside or outside the clinic.
The case manager will ensure a comprehensive initial visit and accurate diagnosis, followed by the design and commissioning of an individualised rehabilitation program. They will indicate the approximate duration of the rehabilitation period and, together with you, determine the weekly frequency of the sessions. You will also discuss the location of the sessions (such as swimming pool, gym or field) and the doctor will provide specific instructions to the rehabilitation specialist. The case manager will also select the rehabilitation specialist(s) who will look after you, and will endeavour to match them based on their experience, clinical interests, and personality.
Your case manager will accompany you throughout your therapeutic journey, supporting you on the path to recovery.
For further information, contact us or book your first visit which will include an initial diagnosis, a customised plan for medical care and a rehabilitation programme designed to suit your unique needs.
