The first step after an injury is to have an initial consultation with an Isokinetic physician who, in turn, will provide you with an accurate diagnosis. They will evaluate the injury, your overall condition, and then formulate a personalised treatment plan, best suited to get you back to health.
To complete the diagnosis, the physician may use additional diagnostic investigations (such as ultrasound or magnetic resonance imaging) and may decide to perform additional medical services or request the collaboration of other colleagues within or outside the facility.
Based on the your clinical examination and history, the physician will then create a digital medical record that includes a detailed and bespoke rehabilitation program. This is set up taking into account your travelling time to and from the clinic and the time you can allot for rehabilitation as well as your recovery expectations, such as returning to an active lifestyle or to a specific activity.
The approximate duration of the rehabilitation period will be included in your record as well as the frequency and the location of your rehabilitation sessions (such as the pool, gym, Green Room, or field). Specific instructions for your rehabilitation specialist will also be provided, along with a schedule of follow-up appointments to monitor your progress.
